USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Explore 500 SL is used for soil fumigation in greenhouses. Soil gets loosened and evened by cultivation. Fertilizer (whichever type is being used) gets buried in the soil before fumigation. Fumigation should take place 3-4 weeks before the plantation and soil structure should be appropriate.
1-Application with Solarization; Surface of the soil should be sealed tight with transparent plastic cover so that there are no gas leaks. Then preparate is applied with drip arrigation to the soil that will reach 20-25 cm in depth. Solarization process takes at least 4-6 weeks.
2-Application without Solarization; Surface of the soil should be sealed tight with transparent plastic covers so that there are no gas leaks. Preparate is applied with drip arrigation to the soil and stays sealed for 15-20 days. The greenhouse must be sealed shut, making sure there is no gas leak from the area.
The Peppergrass Test: Soil samples are taken periodically from the greenhouse and these samples are then mixed. This mixture is put in a jar and peppergrass seed gets planted. If the seeds burst in 2-3 days, then the soil is ready for plantation. If the seeds don’t burst, the soil should be ventilated again and wait till the seeds burst.
MIXING: Not usable with other agricultural products.
Important Note: The greenhouse being disinfected alone is not enough. The cushions in which the seedlings were breed needs to go through the same process.
